Accessibility Statement

After a thorough technical and manual analysis of the pages and functionalities of the website airosrl.com, we provide a complete and clear declaration compliant with European regulations (EAA, WAD), informing users about the website’s level of accessibility and any planned improvements.

Compliance Status

Based on the automatic and manual tests carried out on all public pages of the website, on the main structural elements and on the dynamic components, it is declared that the website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements set out by the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

Non-accessible Content

The content listed below currently does not comply with WCAG 2.2 requirements for the following reasons:

  • Navigation menu not fully accessible: desktop – incomplete management of dropdown menus and missing/outdated ARIA attributes; mobile – non-semantic trigger, suboptimal focus management, and limited usability.
  • Footer: absence of structural landmarks, icon-only links without accessible labels, and inconsistent semantic structure.
  • AJAX search bar: opening and closing not fully keyboard-operable; partially missing labels; announcements not always correctly conveyed to screen readers.
  • Map: iframe not fully labelled and focus not correctly managed; map status not always properly announced to screen readers.
  • Video: cover image without alternative text; player controls not always compatible with keyboard navigation; missing descriptive ARIA labels.
  • Carousels and galleries: autoplay cannot be disabled and some images lack alternative text (alt); navigation controls not always reachable via keyboard.
  • Insufficient color contrast in some sections containing text and links.

Planned Corrective Actions

A technical improvement plan is currently underway to progressively resolve the above issues. The goal is to bring the website airosrl.com into full compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) within the established timeframe.

During this transition phase, the site will integrate the customizable accessibility widget InclusivitySite EasyAccess, based on Iubenda technology, which will help address some unresolved structural issues, serving as a support for user navigation.

Statement Preparation

This accessibility statement was made on November 11, 2025.

The evaluation, based on WCAG 2.2 level AA criteria, was carried out using the AccessAudit InclusivitySite service by Internetimage, through:

  • Automated analysis with the custom InclusivitySite software;
  • Manual and technical review conducted by qualified personnel;
  • Verification of source code and interactive behavior.

This statement will be updated following any significant changes to the website, or at least on an annual basis. A new evaluation will be carried out at the end of the improvement process to certify full compliance.
